These are walking tours for photographers, the emphasis is on photography and the tour is led by a local well known professional photographer. We will help you to select best locations and give tips on how to get the best shots.
Have a chance to photograph the New Mosque ,the Spice Market,The Suleymaniye Mosque from angles you probably would not be able to discover without the help of a local professional photographer.Take a panoramic image of the Golden Horn, visit the fish market.
The view from the top of the Saphire building is wonderful with a complete domination of the city, it offers nice photos in the morning and the afternoon. Tour size is limited to max. 6 participants.

A DAY ON A PRINCE’S ISLAND - BUYUKADA - 6 hour tour
Have a unique gourmet tour on the largest of the Princes’ Islands (Principio -Büyükada). Büyükada is a beautiful summer resort with ancient style wooden houses and old summer residences. There are no museums, no cars even just horses and carriages to get around (the alternative is riding a donkey), grand houses and mansions wreathed with wisteria, begonvilla, pine forests, cliffs.
On the island you will stroll through the pier to visit the island's local market and stop at small eataries ,lokantas to discover the island’s special tastes.
After lunch a horse -drawn carriage will drive you throughout the pine woods taking approx 1 hour. You will taste a delicious ice cream before your cruise back to town. (On week days only). This tour runs with minimum 4 participants.
ISTANBUL FOODIE TRIP - 3 nights
Istanbul is without doubt Europe's most exotic city, and is the ideal place to escape to for a weekend.A Foodlovers excursion in Istanbul featuring the highlights of Istanbul. Aromas of spice and Turkish Coffee , sights of dazzling ceramics and superb architecture, flavours of lokum and kebabs, and the sound of boats chugging along the Bosphorus. Enjoy 3 days of culture, with culinary pleasures. Attend a hands on culinary course, taste Turkish Cuisine and Turkish wine.
Day 1 ISTANBUL
Today you will tour the Spice Bazaar with Selin and stop at shops for tastings. The bazaar is often referred to as the "Egyptian Market" due to the fact that spices used to come to the market from India and Southeast Asia via Egypt. Despite the fact that the bazaar is becoming more touristy, there is still plenty to discover for the "foodie." We will stop at shops tasting and discovering some typically Turkish delicacies.
You will then get on board a local ferry and disembark on the Asian side of Istanbul. After visiting some specialty shops walking through the colorful market of Kadiköy –an open air street market, very different from the Spice Market and more in tune with the way most Istanbullus cook and eat. You will walk on to a restaurant where the chef , one of Turkey’s foremost cooks who is devoted in letting the world know about the glorious food of his homeland. The ingredients used in the dishes travel from South Eastern Anatolia to arrive at your plate in Istanbul: aromatic red pepper, pistachios,chickpeas, olive oil and pomegranate molasses. A multi course lunch with a tasting menu offering small portions of many dishes will be served. Then take ferry back to the European side.
Day 2 ISTANBUL
You will visit St. Sophia, the church of the Divine Wisdom, the Blue Mosque, a 17th century mosque that dominates the skyline of Istanbul and the Byzantine Underground Cistern. For lunch you will taste delicious kofte- meatballs at a specialized restaurant operating since 1920.
After lunch you will visit the magnificent Topkapi Palace, the residence of the sultans for almost three centuries. Last, you will continue to explore ninety-two streets of the famous Grand Bazaar.
You will then proceed to your Hands on Turkish cooking class at an authentic Turkish home. In the evening you will enjoy dinner and taste what you have cooked.
Day 3 ISTANBUL
In the morning we will have a delicious breakfast with fresh Buffalo cream and honey at the Besiktas Market Then we will cruise to the Prince’s Islands. We will disembark on the largest of the Princes’ Islands (Principio -Büyükada). Büyükada is a beautiful summer resort with ancient style wooden houses and old summer residences. A delicious meze and fish lunch will be awaiting you at a restaurant on the pier.
After lunch we will stroll through the pier to visit the island's local market and stop at specialty shops.
A horse -drawn carriage will drive you throughout the pine woods.. We will cruise back to town late in the afternoon.

Day 1 Arrival and Dining in a Turkish Home

Day 2 Markets of Istanbul Tour
Depart for a visit to the Spice Market and nearby attractions where there is plenty to discover forthe "foodie."Then we will proceed to our next destination the Kadikoy market . We will take a ferry toKadıköy on the Asian side of Istanbul from Eminönü and upon arrival we willwalk through the Kadıköy market–an open air street market-, very different from the SpiceMarket and more in tune with the way most Istanbullus cook and eat. We’ll see a huge varietyof seasonal fruits and vegetables, plus fish mongers, butchers, bakers, pastry and puddingshops, and olive oil merchants.Lunch will be at a restaurant serving delicious Anatolian Cuisine. After lunch we will take theferry back to the European side. Evening free. B, L
Day 3 Highlights of Istanbul Cultural tour

DAY 4 Wine Tasting in Thrace
Today we will travel to Thrace to discover some boutique wines of Turkey . The region is wellknown as a region producing a good portion of the wine in Turkey. We will visit two boutique vineries Umurbey in Tekirdag and Melen in Hoskoy where we will be tasting wines. Lunch will be at a local sea food restaurant in the area. Dinner free. B,L
